This privacy policy applies to all web sites operated by BoldBrick and to personal information collected from our prospective or exiting customers, whether collected online, in person, or by means of other communication channels.

Information we collect and how we use it

Our web site offers both content available to the general public, as well as information and services which need you to register or login using existing OpenID credentials to gain access. We collect and processes the following kinds of information:

• Information you provide — When you are asked to register, or login for the first time using your existing OpenID credentials, we create a profile for your login which holds your personal information, like your name, email, phone number, job title, employer, or employer-related information. In case of an OpenID login your OpenID provider is asked automatically to provide the information you made available in your OpenID profile. Some types of information you are asked to provide may be required to proceed.
• Cookies — We may store one or more cookies in order to provide personalized content, and ensure high-level of user experience when using our web site. We do not use cookies to store personal or otherwise sensitive information about you.
• Log information and analytical data — When you access our web site, our servers automatically log technical data about your visit like your IP address, browser type and version, supported languages, operating system, or screen resolution. This data is used to gather usage information, diagnose problems, improve web site's content, and improve our services in general.
• User communication — When you send emails to us we may keep even after your inquiry has been processed for future reference and processing in order to improve our services.

Communication

In case you fill-out a form on our web site, subscribe to a newsletter, register to download any of our products, send us your inquiry via email, fax, or postal mail, or use our support forums or discussion facilities, including posting comments to blog posts published on our web site, we may use the personal information you provided during registration or a one-time inquiry to fulfill your request.

In case you registered at our web site we may send you notifications about product updates or new products or services that are relevant to you based on your usage of our web site and/or products or services. We may also contact you from time to time asking you to give us feedback on our products or services you are using or were using in the past.

Personal information sharing

We reserve the right to use third party services to send emails, newsletters, or otherwise contact our prospective or existing customers, which may need temporary access to limited sets of personal information, like names, email addresses, or phone numbers. However, in case of that all such communication will be done solely on our behalf and no third party would be authorized to use the provided personal information otherwise.

In case you need to access or change any information in your profile you can login in to our site and view or edit your profile. To keep the information you provide safe, make sure no one but you is aware of your login credentials and you always use applicable technical security measures, like the HTTPS protocol, when providing, accessing, or changing your data online.

We pay attention to both electronic and physical safety of personal information. To ensure all personal data are as safe as possible our dedicated servers are located in a secure collocation center and protected by means of firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spyware systems, access policies, and encryption where appropriate.

When transmitting personal data over the Internet we suggest you use the secure HTTP protocol (HTTPS). Our web site provides HTTPS links to all pages that deal with your personal information by default.

Opt-out and deletion of personal information

You have the right to opt-out from sending emails, newsletters, and performing other communication either by making changes to your profile information kept at BoldBrick (see above) or by sending a request to privacy@boldbrick.com.

In case you don't want BoldBrick to store and process your personal information, please send a request for permanent deletion of your data to privacy@boldbrick.com. In case you are an existing customer, BoldBrick reserves the right to keep the amount of information necessary to ensure the general level and quality of presently ordered services (like software maintenance) and/or contractual obligations (like valid License Terms and Conditions you as an existing customer are bound by).

Regulatory information

BoldBrick, s.r.o. is registered with The Office for Personal Data Protection to collect and process personal information pursuant to §16, Protection of Personal Data Act No. 101/2000 of the Czech law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note we may change this privacy policy from time to time, especially in case of changes to regulatory obligations, or set of products or services offered. We will not reduce your rights for privacy under this Privacy Policy without your prior consent. All changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted to this page. In case of significant changes we will use your email address to send you a notification.
